Nine Injured in Overnight Shooting Near Minneapolis Uptown Club

Nine people were shot outside the Reign Event Center in Minneapolis’s Uptown neighborhood early Sunday. Four victims in their 20s were treated at Hennepin Healthcare, an 18-year-old with a gunshot wound also sought treatment, and five more were admitted to Abbott Northwestern Hospital, including a man with life-threatening injuries who was transferred to Hennepin Healthcare. Two victims with potentially life-threatening injuries are expected to survive. Police urge anyone with information to come forward; off-duty officers were among the first responders and no arrests had been made as of Sunday evening.
