North Carolina Family Shot After Basketball Rolls into Neighbor's Yard

A 6-year-old girl and her father were shot after their basketball rolled into a neighbour's yard in North Carolina. Two other victims were also injured. The suspect, Robert Louis Singletary, remains at large and faces four counts of first-degree attempted murder. Police have charged him with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. The shooting is the latest in a string of gun violence incidents across the US involving young Americans who mistakenly approached the wrong person or home.
