NYC Dad's Forgiveness: Wife's SUV Attack and Stabbing in Front of Kids

Stephen Giraldo, a Queens father, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for attempting to murder his estranged wife, Sophia Giraldo, by intentionally running her over with their children in the car and then stabbing her. Despite her being in a coma due to the attack, Stephen bizarrely declared his forgiveness towards her during his sentencing. Sophia's family expressed their outrage at his manipulative behavior, while the judge imposed a prison term, post-release supervision, and a ban on contacting Sophia and their children. The victim's father described Stephen as manipulative and self-absorbed.
