Orlando Police Officer in Hot Water for Speeding and Dispute with Deputy

An Orlando police officer, Alexander Shaouni, was relieved of duty and is facing charges after a dispute with a Seminole County Sheriff's deputy over speeding. Shaouni was allegedly going 80 mph in a 45 zone without emergency lights or sirens activated. After a pursuit, Shaouni refused to provide identification and is now facing charges of reckless driving, resisting an officer, and fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer. The Orlando Police Department has launched an internal investigation.
