Philadelphia Shooter's Spree Began Earlier Than Initially Reported, Police Say

Joseph Wamah Jr., 31, was found dead in his home several hours after the mass shooting, and it is believed that he was killed by Kimbrady Carriker, the man charged with 10 counts of murder and attempted murder in the shooting. The timing of Wamah's death raises new questions about the rampage, which was previously thought to have been carried out randomly and quickly. The police received a 911 call reporting gunshots near Wamah's house, but it was dispatched to the wrong address, and his body was not discovered until after the mass shooting occurred. The new information does not change the charges against Carriker, according to the Philadelphia district attorney.
