Phoenix Homeowner Defends Property, Fatally Shoots Intruder

A man attempting to break into a home in Arizona was shot and killed by the homeowner late Thursday night. The homeowner, in an act of self-defense, shot the would-be burglar in the chest. The intruder was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but later died. The police are investigating the incident and have not yet identified the individuals involved or determined if the homeowner will face any charges.
