Police and FBI respond to 'high risk arrest' of 16-year-old in South Portland.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested with the help of a Portland-based SWAT team at a home in South Portland. The arrest was made after evidence was gathered that the teen was developing a plan to commit a serious crime in the community. The police suspected that the teen had access to several firearms, which prompted the high-risk response. A man at the residence interfered and was shot with a bean bag round before being arrested. The FBI and Cumberland County District Attorney's Office are involved in the investigation.
