Police Chase Ends in Southaven Crash and Officer Shot

A man carjacked a vehicle and fired shots at a Memphis police officer before leading Southaven police on a chase that ended with his arrest. The suspect was identified as Demarcus Chambers and was taken into custody on I-55 just south of Stateline Road. No injuries were reported, but drivers should take an alternate route to avoid delays.
