Police release image of person of interest in Phoenix hiking trail murder case.

Phoenix police have released an image of a person of interest after a 29-year-old woman, Lauren Heike, was found dead on a community hiking trail in a desert area over the weekend. Heike was attacked from behind and died due to her injuries. Police have described the person of interest as a male between 5-feet, 8-inches and 6-feet tall, wearing dark clothing and a backpack. The area where Heike was killed is a community trail, where people often take off-road vehicles or ride horses, and homes are located nearby. Police reminded the public to take precautions while hiking or walking, and to do so with a partner.
