Prominent Philadelphia LGBTQ+ Activist Arrested for Alleged Child Rape

Kendall Stephens, a prominent LGBTQ+ activist in Philadelphia, has been arrested and charged with raping two young boys. The charges include rape, indecent assault, endangering the welfare of a child, corruption of minors, and other related crimes. Stephens, who became an activist after being attacked for being a trans woman, had been involved in advocating for LGBTQ+ rights and was part of the launch of the LGBTQ+ Advisory Board in Philadelphia. The investigation is being led by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, and Stephens' bail has been set at $250,000.
