Sisters of Ruby Franke, a family vlogger charged with felony child abuse, have released separate video statements claiming they were unaware of her alleged behavior. Franke and her husband, Kevin, who ran the YouTube channel "8 Passengers," were arrested after one of their children was found with open wounds and another in a malnourished condition. The sisters, Julie Deru and Bonnie Hoellein, said they had lost touch with Franke and had no knowledge of the abuse. They also expressed concerns about Franke's business partner and questioned her parenting tactics. Four of Franke's children have been placed in the care of child services.
