Seattle Woman's Disappearance After Mariners Game: Suspect Jailed, Arrest Made, and Hope Remains

A 46-year-old man, Brett Gitchel, has been arrested for investigation of murder and kidnapping in connection with the disappearance of 58-year-old Leticia Martinez-Cosman, who was last seen at a Seattle Mariners game on March 31. Gitchel has previous convictions of domestic violence, auto theft, drugs, and lying to police. Martinez-Cosman's vehicle was found on fire on April 2, and she has still not been found. Gitchel denies knowing Martinez-Cosman but was seen with her at the Mariners game. Her adult son was attacked by a man who claimed to be doing it "for his mother" and was later found wandering alone in the woods in Renton.
