Sibling's Slingshot Saves Sister from Alleged Kidnapper

A 13-year-old boy saved his 8-year-old sister from an alleged kidnapper by shooting the suspect with his slingshot in Alpena Township, Michigan. The suspect was later found hiding at a nearby gas station and was charged with attempted kidnapping, attempted assault, and battery. The suspect confessed to detectives that he planned on severely beating the victim. The suspect is being charged as an adult, but his name has not been released by police.
