Sioux Falls Homicide Victim Identified

The victim in a homicide investigation in Sioux Falls has been identified as Nigussie Bulti, who was found deceased inside a resident and partially inside a large garment bag. Morningstar Jewett, a 29-year-old suspect, has been arrested and admitted to assaulting the victim with a piece of wood and stomping on his head. Jewett is currently held at the Minnehaha County Jail on charges of aggravated assault. The autopsy confirmed the death as a homicide, and the decision on charges will be made by the Minnehaha County State's Attorney's Office. This is the first homicide in Sioux Falls this year, with three unsolved homicides dating back to 1943.
