Spate of Gunpoint Robberies Target Women and Infants at Woodfield Mall

A Chicago man, Jaquan Wilkins, who was out on bond for attempted murder, was arrested after robbing a woman with an infant at gunpoint outside Woodfield Mall in Schumburg. Wilkins fled the scene and led police on a chase, crashing into vehicles before being apprehended. He was charged with multiple offenses, including illegal possession of a firearm and aggravated fleeing and eluding. Wilkins had been out on bond for previous charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery.
