Stepfather of 7-year-old arsonist arrested on child abuse charge.

The stepfather of a 7-year-old child who was arrested for allegedly setting his home on fire has also been arrested for child abuse creating risk of injury. The stepfather was caught on video hitting the child on the buttocks several times and picking him up forcefully under the arms, removing him from a room. The parents were asleep inside the home at the time of the fire, which caused minor burn injuries to two people. The investigation is ongoing.
