A 39-year-old man from Pacifica, California, identified as Mark Mechikoff, allegedly killed a woman in San Mateo and filmed her final moments before posting the video on Facebook. The incident was reported by a witness who saw the stabbing on the social media platform. Mechikoff was arrested in San Jose within two hours of the victim being found dead. The police discovered the victim's body in an apartment complex after pinging Mechikoff's phone number. The suspect was still in possession of the suspected murder weapon when apprehended.
