Suspect in Mahany Park shooting evades capture, flees hospital

The suspect accused of a shooting at Mahany Park in Roseville, California, escaped from Sutter Roseville Medical Center where he was being treated after apparently being taken there from jail. Eric Abril, who had been in custody since April on charges of murder and attempted murder, is now the subject of a manhunt. Authorities are asking the public to call 911 if they see him. Abril was arrested in connection to a shooting that left one person dead and two others wounded, including a California Highway Patrol officer.
