Teen Rock-Throwing Spree Ends in Fatal Crash and Arrests.

Three men who threw rocks at vehicles, killing a 20-year-old woman, turned back after the fatal crash and took a photo of the woman’s car as a memento, according to a Jefferson County sheriff’s affidavit. The suspects were arrested earlier this week for investigation of first-degree murder in Bartell’s death. The men used “marine” terms when throwing the rocks, and authorities believe all three men threw rocks at cars during a crime spree in west metro Denver on April 19. The suspects were ordered to be held without bond and a court hearing for the filing of charges is scheduled for May 3.
