Teen Suspect in Times Square Assault Arrested for Queens Robbery

Darwin Andres Gomez-Izquiel, previously charged in the Times Square assault on NYPD officers, has been rearrested for an alleged robbery at a Queens Macy's, while two others charged in the same case are now in ICE custody. Seven people have been indicted in the Times Square case, with the next court appearance scheduled for Friday. The police union president has called for Gomez-Izquiel to be put back behind bars, stating that those who attack NYC police officers have zero respect for the law.
