Tennessee Man Charged in New Year's Day Hammer Killing and Burial of Wife

In Nashville, 70-year-old Joseph Glynn was arrested for the murder of his 76-year-old wife, Jackie Glynn, after police discovered her body buried in a six-foot grave on their property. Glynn had misled his wife's children about her whereabouts, claiming she left due to terminal illness, which was proven false. A Silver Alert had been issued for Jackie before her body was found in a grave that Glynn had a contractor dig under the pretense of creating a burn pit. Glynn is charged with criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, and evidence tampering, with a bond set at $1,030,000.
