Terminally ill comedian's Alaska trip ends in murder and his own death

A 61-year-old stand-up comedian diagnosed with terminal cancer traveled from Arizona to Anchorage, Alaska, to shoot his ex-wife outside her hair salon and then killed her father; he died a day later in the woods. He was facing first-degree murder and third-degree assault charges at the time of his death, and police say he had recently moved to Alaska after the 2020 divorce.
