Texas Murder Suspect Arrested After Confessing to Multiple Murders.

A murder suspect in Texas called the police and confessed to multiple slayings, leading to a manhunt that ended in his arrest. Raul Meza Jr. had been a person of interest in the fatal stabbing of an 80-year-old man, and he confessed to that murder as well as the 2019 strangulation of a 66-year-old woman. Meza had been released from prison in 2016 after serving time for the murder and sexual assault of an 8-year-old girl in 1982. Police are investigating possible links between Meza and several unsolved murders dating back to the 1990s. Meza was found with zip ties, duct tape, a flashlight, a .22-caliber pistol, and rounds when he was arrested, and he admitted to planning more murders.
