Texas Shooting Spree Leaves Families in Mourning and Public Criticizing Police Communication

Family members of the victims of a double shooting in south Austin gathered outside the home to mourn and pray. The victims were identified as Emmanuel Pop Ba, 32, and Sabrina Rahman, 24. The suspect, Shane James, 34, is also connected to a double homicide in Bexar County and the shootings of an Austin Independent School District officer and an APD officer. The brother of Ba described him as a hard worker who was tragically killed while on his lunch break. Neighbors expressed concern about future incidents and the need for closure for the affected families.
