Texas Uber driver shot dead by passenger who feared kidnapping.

A Kentucky woman, Phoebe Copas, has been charged with murder after fatally shooting her Uber driver, Daniel Piedra Garcia, in El Paso, Texas. Copas allegedly believed she was being kidnapped and taken to Mexico, but police say there is no evidence to support this claim. Piedra was hospitalized for several days before his family took him off life support. Copas, who is being held on a $1.5 million bond, was originally charged with aggravated assault. Piedra's family has set up a GoFundMe campaign to support themselves after losing their sole provider.
