Toddler at Utah daycare hit by stray bullet in head.

A 2-year-old child at a daycare in Spanish Fork, Utah was hit in the head by an apparent stray bullet and was found to have a small caliber bullet lodged in its head. The child is in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery. Police believe the incident was a "tragic accident" and have identified a man who was shooting birds with a .22-caliber air rifle in the open fields west of the daycare. The investigation is ongoing and the case will be sent to the Spanish Fork city prosecutor's office for review of any charges.
