Fabiana, a 12-year-old from La Guaira, survived 32 hours trapped under rubble after two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela (magnitude 7.5); she stayed conscious thanks to hope and even a bottle of ketchup and grated cheese, as volunteers and rescuers carved a path to reach her and reunite her with her mother, amid a death toll in the thousands.
