Tragic Death of 1-Year-Old Sparks Investigation into Mother and Neighbor

A 1-year-old child in Jackson, Mississippi, has died after being brutally beaten, with a "massive amount of trauma and bruising to their body." The child's mother and a neighbor are being questioned, and police are actively searching for a male acquaintance of the mother. Child Protective Services has been contacted as other children were present in the home.
