Tragic Loss: Colorado Springs Community Parole Officer Killed in Line of Duty

A community parole officer was killed in the line of duty in Colorado Springs after being hit by a vehicle driven by Justin Kula, a parolee with a history of convictions including assaulting a peace officer. Another parole officer was also injured in the hit-and-run incident. The identity of the deceased officer has not been released, and the suspect is now in custody.
