Tragic Shooting in Barron County Claims Lives of Two Officers and Suspect.

Two police officers, 32-year-old Emily Breidenbach and 23-year-old Hunter Scheel, were shot and killed during a traffic stop in Barron County, Wisconsin. The suspect, 50-year-old Glenn Douglas Perry, also died from injuries sustained during the incident. The shootout occurred when an officer with the Chetek Police Department conducted a traffic stop, and gunfire was exchanged between someone in a vehicle and the responding officer or officers. The Division of Criminal Investigation is leading the investigation, and reports will be turned over to the Barron County District Attorney when the investigation concludes.
