Michael Haight, a Utah father who killed his wife, five children, and mother-in-law before shooting himself earlier this year, left a suicide note blaming his wife for his actions and saying he would rather "rot in hell" than "put up" with her "manipulation and control." Haight was being investigated for child abuse at the time of the murders, and documents obtained through a public records request revealed previous incidents of abuse. Haight's wife had been planning to file for divorce before the killings. Bodycam footage of the shooting was also released by police.
