Utah man forgets one gun before killing family, admits to crime.

A Layton man, Jeremy Bailey, has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife and in-laws visiting from Nevada, as well as three out of four family dogs, in a murder-suicide. Bailey had stored firearms at his friend's garage and had been "thinking of doing this a few days ago," according to a police booking affidavit. He called emergency dispatchers and reported the killings, stating that he had forgotten about a Springfield 9mm firearm that had belonged to one of the victims. Bailey has been booked for investigation of three counts of aggravated murder, three counts of aggravated cruelty to animals, and three counts of felony discharge of a firearm.
