Weekend of Violence: Multiple Shootings in Detroit

At least 10 shootings were investigated by Detroit police over the weekend, with 5 of them resulting in fatalities. The violence prompted the Detroit Police to issue a curfew for minors, but another shooting occurred within an hour of its implementation. The police have asked for help from the Michigan State Police to enforce the curfew. Former Assistant Detroit Police Chief Steve Dolunt expressed his frustration with the situation and called for the community to come together to teach children right from wrong.
