Westbrook Shooting Leaves Couple Dead, Suspect Has Prior Criminal Record

Marcel Lagrange Jr., a 24-year-old man with a criminal record dating back to 2018, has been charged with two counts of murder after allegedly shooting and killing a mother and father in front of their children in Westbrook, Maine. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and police say Lagrange injured a 75-year-old man during a chase before being tackled by a bystander. The couple's two children, aged 11 and 7, witnessed their parents' murders. Lagrange is being held without bail and will be arraigned on Wednesday.
