The Tompkins Square Dog Parade in New York City, which was almost canceled due to financial constraints, drew about 15,000 people and over 600 dogs this year, nearly doubling last year's attendance. The event, which has become a cornerstone of the city's spooky season, was revived with the help of Mayor Eric Adams' office and sponsorship from Get Joy, a dog food and wellness company.
