Ukraine's Defence Minister expresses gratitude to Pentagon chief for game-changing ATACMS impact

Ukraine's Defense Minister, Rustem Umierov, expressed gratitude to US Defense Secretary, Lloyd Austin, for providing ATACMS long-range missiles, stating that they are having a significant impact on the battlefield. Austin confirmed that the White House is prepared to seek congressional resources to support Ukraine's defense. The two officials also discussed the successful outcomes of a recent Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting and developments on the ground in Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the deployment of ATACMS missiles, which were reportedly sent secretly by the US. Ukraine's Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, stated that the US will continue supplying Ukraine with ATACMS missiles on an ongoing basis.
