TL;DR

During a contentious interview on "60 Minutes," co-founders of Moms for Liberty were pressed by host Scott Pelley about sexually explicit books in schools, with Pelley accusing them of being evasive. The conservative organization has capitalized on parental anger over alleged sexually explicit books in public school classrooms and libraries, with Republicans in West Virginia seeking to allow criminal charges against teachers and librarians who expose children to such material. The issue has sparked controversy and policy changes in Maryland and other states.
