11 resignations reshape Iowa CIF advisory council

The Iowa Board of Regents accepted the resignations of 11 University of Iowa Center for Intellectual Freedom Advisory Council members, reducing the council to 15. CIF Chair Christine Hensley thanked the departing members and said the Board will work with the remaining council to move CIF forward; the center has paused classes until 2028 amid enrollment controversy, and an executive committee meeting on Sept. 25 will continue the search for a permanent CIF director.
