Cady Short-Thompson chosen as Northern Kentucky University's new president

Northern Kentucky University has announced the selection of Cady Short-Thompson as its seventh president. Short-Thompson, currently the CEO and executive director of Breakthrough Cincinnati, brings 25 years of experience in higher education to the role. She expressed her excitement to return to NKU, where her professional journey began, and to lead the institution forward. The appointment follows an extensive search process and Short-Thompson's first day will be on October 2nd. Interim president Bonita Brown will assist with the transition.
