A California mother is suing her daughter's school district for allowing her 11-year-old daughter to transition from female to male without informing her. The school district upheld a "parental secrecy policy" that allows school officials to offer gender counseling without informing parents. The mother argues that the policy is "incredibly dangerous" and that children need parental guidance during such a tumultuous time in their lives.
