Philadelphia Schools Go Virtual Due to Poor Air Quality.

Philadelphia School District will shift to virtual instruction on Friday due to air-quality issues. The move was made out of an abundance of caution for the health of students. Employees are expected to report to their normal work locations. Graduation ceremonies will proceed as scheduled, but at alternative locations and adjusted times. Many Philadelphia schools have no air-conditioning, and the district's extreme weather policy calls for schools that are not climate-controlled to close when temperatures hit 90 degrees.
