Understanding the Rutgers Faculty Strike and its Resolution

Rutgers University and three faculty unions have agreed on a framework for a settlement after a five-day strike. Negotiations will resume on Monday, and classes will continue as long as negotiations don't break down. However, outstanding issues on healthcare for adjunct professors and family leave for medical faculty remain unresolved. The source of funding for the contract increases is yet to be determined.
