TL;DR

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch, 92, is engaged to former San Francisco police chaplain Ann Lesley Smith, marking his fifth marriage. Murdoch controls News Corp and Fox Corp through a family trust that holds roughly a 40% stake in voting shares of each company. The wedding is set to take place in late summer and is unlikely to change the ownership structure of his businesses.
