Improving Air Quality Forecast for Northeastern US Amid Wildfire Smoke.

Smoke from Canada's wildfires will continue to affect air quality in the Great Lakes and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States on Friday, but with less dense concentrations than earlier this week. Pockets of dense smoke could still reduce air quality and visibility in some areas. Air quality alerts are in effect for parts of eight states, but the air is "much improved" in New York. The smoke is expected to clear out of the region on Saturday.
