US Collaborates to Improve Air Quality in NYC Amidst Canadian Wildfires

Hazardous air quality levels caused by smoke from Canadian wildfires continue to affect major cities in the eastern U.S., leading to flight delays, canceled outdoor activities, and health concerns. The U.S. has deployed over 600 firefighters to Canada to help mitigate the blazes, and New York Governor Kathy Hochul has announced the distribution of 1 million N95 masks.
