Wildfire smoke causes air quality alerts in multiple states.

Air quality alerts have been issued for Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Indiana due to smoke from Canadian wildfires. The hardest hit areas are currently near Northern and Western Michigan, where the air quality ranges from unhealthy to very unhealthy. It is recommended that outdoor activities be limited, especially for those with respiratory diseases. The smoke is expected to clear out by Wednesday morning.
