Baltimore nurse Emily Raines and her boyfriend Daniel Shifflett saved the life of a fellow passenger whose heart stopped mid-flight on Southwest Flight 553. The couple, who were on their way home from a vacation, performed CPR on the unconscious passenger, eventually reviving him minutes before the flight made an emergency landing in Raleigh, North Carolina. The passenger was taken to a local hospital and is now "doing remarkably well."
