Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman spoke about his battle with depression and recovery from a stroke in his first interview since hospitalization. Fetterman revealed that he became "indifferent" to living and had stopped engaging in things he loved. He also defended his decision to stay in the race despite a hearing deficit that made it difficult for him to fully understand spoken language. Fetterman ultimately defeated opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz and flipped the Senate seat formerly held by Republican Pat Toomey. Fetterman regretted not getting help sooner and is now committing himself to his family.
