Nurses at Ascension facilities stage strikes in Kansas and Texas.

Nurses at Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph and St. Francis are on a one-day strike outside their respective hospitals, protesting Ascension's refusal to address staffing shortages at its hospitals. Contract talks between the hospital and National Nurses United started in February, and a deal still has not been reached. Ascension Via Christi says they have a comprehensive plan in place to ensure there is no disruption in service for those who are entrusted to their care.
