8-year-old survives 2 days alone in Michigan wilderness by eating snow and covering himself in branches.

An 8-year-old boy who went missing while gathering firewood in Michigan's Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park was found after surviving for two days by eating snow. Nante Niemi was sheltering under a log and had covered himself with branches and leaves for warmth. He was found by search party volunteers about two miles from the campsite and is in good health. More than 150 state and local police personnel were involved in the search and rescue effort.
